The West Australian Rabbit Council is one of the oldest Clubs in Australia.
We were affiliated in 1986 shortly after keeping rabbits in WA was made legal!
WARCI is affiliated to the Australian National Rabbit Council Inc. We hold shows every month from March to December. Most of our shows are held at Cyril Jackson Rec Centre in Bassendean but we also have shows and displays at Agricultural Shows.
Apart from providing shows for our exhibiting members we also spend a lot of time promoting responsible keeping of rabbits as pets and companion animals. We provide information on our website and at shows and also sell an excellent information booklet that we have written ourselves. We have Pet days and RCD Vaccination days as a service to the public.
We are only a small Club and we welcome members – both exhibition and pet owners. On our Form page we have a Membership form you can complete.
